Highly accurate tightening with the new transducerized screwdriver ERS and controller CVIR II for the assembly of electronics and automotive components
With a torque range from 0.6 to 12 Nm, the transducerized screwdrivers range ERS in combination with the new controller CVIR II is dedicated for all type of tightening which required accuracy and traceability. This involves not only automotive, electronics or medical industry but also all industries with low torque assembly. With straight, angle head and fixtured shapes, the ERS will fit in every kind of application.
Different screws? More feedbacks?

The transducerized control loop ERS plus CVIR II enables very flexible tightening strategy by applying one of the 50 different cycles possible. In each one of them, the user can adjust the phases to optimize his process as torque or angle target tightening strategy.
The information concerning the characteristic of the joint (torque /angle) and the batch counting are displayed on the controller screen. Moreover the led on to tool makes it more visible and the programmable reporting by two additional led even allows the customer to choose its own signals. For example, a maintenance alert can be configured by the mean of a date or a number of cycles, once this criteria is reached, the configured blue led turns on.
Quality guaranteed even for material variation
The new tightening strategy “Seating Detection” is introduced to assure a reliable quality process to self-tapping application in plastic or aluminium casting. The aim of this strategy is to detect the screw head contact on the part by torque rate management. For that, the values of the transducer and the angle sensor from the ERS are analyzed. The moment the head screw touches the part, the torque rate will increase and this value peak will be the reference for the process. The following phase “Post Seating Detection” is applying an additional torque or angle to provide a constant clamping force.
The Seating Detection provides:
- Reliable tightening for self-tapping screws into plastic, wood or metal (especially aluminum die-cast) as well as many other materials
- Repeatable and precise tightening with constant clamping forces in the joints
- Prevents and reduces rework costs due to wrong tightening

The head screw contact on the part is detecting by the torque rate value.
The screwdriver stops when the torque rate is reaching the end slope value for the torque rate.
An additional torque or angle is apply in the Post Seating strategy to apply a constant clamping force
